Photographed by Gardner & Corliss, New York City, c. 1890, with their imprint on the back, along with a second studio, W. Long", and "35 Stanton written in period pencil. At that time, Leopold Gerbes' Tobacco & Cigar store was located at that address - the people are probably Leo (smoking a cigar), and possibly his wife and an employee? Cabinet card is 6.5" x 4.25" and in good to very good antique condition, with age-related wear, light soiling, stable crease in the upper-right tip.
