RARE Antique Vintage White Wedding Concave Feather Hand Fan Wood Lacquered Base

  
One of kind hand-made item. Vintage Old Chinese White Feather Hand Held. Wood Handle Black Lacquer Fan. This is an authentic vintage and not a recently made reproduction. Very elegant, simple and soft. It is very well crafted and unique compared to other listings.

Has a wonderful symmetry in its construction. On Pinterest and Etsy, this style is referred to as a. 1920s Flapper Fan 20s Feather or Dance Fan or 1960s.

Vintage curved feather fan with lacquered handle. Please note the natural curve of the full and very fluffy high quality feathers from the front and the back. From the backside you can see the firm and expert craftsmanship when compared to similarly constructed fans.

Older pieces appear to be made with higher quality materials and artisanship. White Wide Feathered Concave Fan measures about 14 inches height and 13 inches width and 2 inches depth. It is marked with a red and white square vintage label that says: "Made In China" and has a pink plastic twine rope that bundles it together. Has a pink bow tied loop by which to hang the fan. As vintage item, not in perfect condition.

May be hard to detect in photo but the tip of one of the feathers (on the backside) is slightly bent and tipped over to the side. Not visible from the front.
