Rare Antique Venetian Fancy Glass Bead Wedding Cake White Gold Leaf 48x20mm

  

For sale today we have a RARE antique Venetian FANCY WEDDING CAKE bead from the 1800's. It is a lamp work wound bead that measures approximately 48x20mm. It has a WHITE CORE with raised FLORAL DESIGNS and GOLD LEAF TRAILINGS. What makes this bead very special is the abundance of gold leaf trailings, the addition of a central band, and its large size.

Bead has not been cleaned. The bead is in excellent used antique condition with the raised gold leaf designs mostly intact. It would make a great focal bead in your jewelry design. You may want to keep it as an addition to your RARE Venetian/Murano fancy glass bead collection.
