This listing is for a rare antique grandfather clock. This American clock dates to the early 1800s and was made by Riley Whiting of Winchester, Connecticut.
The case is quite gorgeous and was made in the Federal style. The case is made from cherrywood with inlay, columns, fretwork, and brass spires. The movement is made from wood and has time/strike functions. It is complimented by a nice hand painted wooden dial. The clock comes with its original movement. 85" H x 19" W x 10 D inches.The clock appears to be in overall good condition. Some signs of normal wear and age present, such as darkening to the wood and minor tarnishing.
