This is a superb c. 19th Victorian Staffordshire figurine of a pug dog with amber glass eyes depicted in a seated pose. The pug is grey with handsome black and brown markings.

This fine Staffordshire has excellent attention to detail and the pug has a wonderful surprised expression. A very desirable subject matter and a charming figurine. The condition is excellent and age commensurate. A large piece which measures some 12" high and some 10.5" long at base.
