Rare Antique American Scalloped Brown & White Band Watt Pitcher Yellow Ware

  
Here we have a very rare and attractive pitcher with. An elaborately molded design and applied brown and white bands. This bold pattern of rising Gothic arches is one of my favorites, is rarely found and is highly collectable.

The pitcher was made by the Watt Pottery Company and is one of several matching brown and white band pieces produced. Watt Pottery was located in Crooksville, Ohio and produced these pieces for a short period of time during the 1920's. This period was during the end of yellow ware production by potters in America.

This pitcher measures 5 ½" tall by 5" wide across the opening. The pitcher is in original near mint condition with only a short line at the rim that doesn't detract. This is part of a large set of matching brown and white band pieces being listed and represents a rare opportunity for collectors.
