Dating to the 1800s, this chamber pot was likely made in Ohio during the height of American yellow ware production. The potty is decorated with 5 thin white bands similar to popular bowls produced at the time.
This has an attractive form with a rounded rim and foot, this also has an applied strap handle. Measuring 8 ½" wide by 5 ¼" in height, the potty is in mint original condition with no post production damage or repairs. This has three short drying lines on the recessed foot that occurred before firing and one on the inside bottom that doesn't go through.
