Lovely Antique Alcock Cobridge Celeste 14.25 Flow Blue Plate 1850-1860RARE

Up for your consideration is a lovely Antique John Alcock Cobridge "Celeste" Flow Blue Plate/Platter. The blue transferware pattern has a wonderful floral border and the image in the center has an Asian feel to it. It is an octagon shape and measures 12'' from top to bottom and is 14.25 wide with the handles.

The center area is raised and measures 7 across. The color is vivid given the age of this piece, and the condition is excellent with no signs of chips, cracks or repairs. Please note there is some crazing throughout, but this is commensurate with age. A beautiful and quite rare piece.
