Elegant PAIR Antique French Metis Linen Sheets, Embroidery Rare 230 x 320cm. It is so rare to find pairs of matching sheets of this quality, all hand embroidered. These sheets were commissioned for a small chateau.

I actually have one more of the same pattern and another which has a similar patternall from the same source. They have a very sophisticated pattern of ladder-work, drawn thread work and pastilles (polka dots).

Timeless elegance for traditional or contemporary rooms. Across the full width the ladder-work is geometrically designed to embrace the polka dots, and further drawn thread-work (croisillons) emphasise the shapes. The corner embroidery forms a long return of 27 inches. The quality of these sheets is further emphasised by the excellent mitred corners. Measurements: 90 inches wide x 125 inches long (230 x 320 cm).
