Stamped ironstone pitcher with embossed flower on both sides and a raised thumb hold on the handle from the early mid 1800's era. It measures 9" tall, 9" across the handle to the spout, 8" wide at the belly and about 6 1/2" deep.
Three quarts fill it to the rim. It has some age crazing and discoloration under the spout, the inside bottom and a couple spots on the bottom and two stress fractures at the handle side, one is very small and hard to see, the other is about 4 in length but stable. There are a few spots of glazing imperfections due to its hand-crafted nature and age. Beautiful soft creamy white color, shabby chic or country antique display piece.
