Circa 1820 - exceedingly RARE gable end oval window with spider web fenestration. When a picker originally shared a photo of this window I thought it was a metal or iron frame - the ornamentation was too good to be wood. Older white and green paint. There is an original rectangle frame - cut out of the house that measures 61 x 37 x 4.25. The window sash - while the main part of the window is oval - the sash is also rectangular and sits inside the box frame.
The sash is 55.5 x 33. There is one piece of glass missing in the inside oval & 8 missing on the outside. Oval windows are rare elements in the Salvage world - one of this stature is really rare! THESE LOOK GREAT REUSED - RE-PURPOSED or simply hung on the wall as art work! Needs to be collected at my warehouse in Vernon CT.Let me know if you have any questions!! This can also be picked up in the Hartford, CT region. Be sure to add me to your favorites list.
